The room was nice it was warm and clean with all the facilities ie tv hairdryer tea coffee ensuite towels soap etc the check in and check out time were very flexible I had food on the evening of my arrival this was delicious very busy food trade the staff were very helpful and pleasent

Its part of a nice local pub with very friendly bar staff. The open fire was lovely sitting down with a pint of the black stuff and newspaper. It could have been a late nite laughing with the locals but for it being a "school" nite. It your standard country local with "flexible" closing hours. It would be a great spot if you are doing a toor of the country. The room was just fine, it is no way up Market but it was clean, warm and comfy. For the price it could not be beaten.

Lovely room, very friendly staff, only 5 min from Carrick on Shannon (the town was booked out so stayed here), no problem with taxis, and the room rate was very reasonable compaired to surronding accomadation

As adverted to above above, the friendliness was the outstanding feature. I also liked the simplicity, yet fully adequate nature of the accommodation on offer and the fact that it is in the heart of some of the country's most beautiful scenery.

My cycling club recently did a west of Ireland cycle we were trying to find an hotel where 30 of us could all stay and that could provide us with safe parking for our bicycles and safe storage for our cycling gear we found you on the web the staff were extremely helpful to me during the process of making the reservation your facilities were ideal for us great help by all your staff the food was delicious bar food at €10 per person is great value thanks for making our stay so enjoyable we will book again.

My hen party was in july 25 of us girls from dublin headed into the west (carrick on shannon ) and stayed at the leitrim lodge hotel never been in the area before the accommodation food and staff was great lots to do in the area we arrived on friday night had great fun in the hotel bar and then in the night clubs in carrick on shannon we went down the shannon on the moon river boat on the saturday a great experience great food in the leitrim lodge good in carrick also ---- drink not bad either ----.

Having travelled from Cork to do work in Carrick-on-shannon, I was extremely happy with all aspects of my stay... the value was superb, Gareth, who was on duty when i arrived was friendly, efficient and had made sure the room lacked nothing... I enjoyed a couple of drinks in the bar and in the beer garden to the rear before having a shower (deceptively powerful) and taking an early night and I slept soundly and snug as a bug!
An older building but far more charm than many new places... room only rate was 25 euro!!! My only regret is that I didn't have the meal available in the bar until 8 p.m. as I had eaten late in the afternoon but next time..!
